The purpose of the Partner Stunt & Pyramid class is to prepare high school students for collegiate level of cheerleading by teaching them, as well as college students, the art of group stunting (pyramid and/or mounts) and one-on-one stunting (partner). The skills that will be taught range from beginner (chair) to advance (cupie/awesome) and even elite (high-torch/w 540 degrees down). Students will work with different partners and the focus will be on proper technique and progression. Tumbling will also be taught in these classes. The student ratio is 6:1 in this class.
Thanks to all Damon's CTA students that attended Adair Co.'s Downtown Days on Saturday, October 10, 2009. It was a great success! We had students from all 3 Damon's CTA locations tumbling and stunting in the square. Congratulations to Cally Wilson for winning 1st place in the Downtown Days Teen Beauty Pageant!
