Damon's CTA Inc.

My passion for cheerleading began as a co-captain for The Ohio State University cheerleading squad in the late 80's. During this time I became a head instructor for Cheerleaders of America (COA) teaching summer cheer and dance camps which lasted for 12 years. For 4 year, I worked at Tammy Jo's Studios, in Greenup, KY, as the director of cheerleading and tumbling classes and the head power tumbling coach. For 10 years, I worked as a head counselor for All American Cheer & Dance (AACD) where I assisted in teaching and organizing the festivities, for over 1000 cheerleaders and dancers, at the pre-game and half-time show of the NFL Pro Bowl, in Honolulu, HI. In 1998, I became co-owner and manager of Premier Cheerleading and Tumbling in Somerset, KY where my staff and I worked with 25 different school cheer and dance squads surrounding Pulaski Co. We also taught recreational tumbling classes, tap, jazz and hip hop dance classes, and national champion all-star cheer and power tumbling teams. I have over 20 years of experience in the sport of cheerleading which includes working with and judging for many cheerleading organizations such as UCA, COA, USA, ECA, and AACD. I also have 15 years experience as a certified power tumbling coach and I have choreographed several award-winning routines within the United States and Europe (Germany & Sweden). My strong cheerleading and tumbling background have enabled me to become one of the strongest coaches in the Eastern United States and May 1, 2009 marked my 8th year as owner and manager of Damon's CTA, Inc.
